Find something that really motivates her. For my head strong determined little girl it was stickers. I bought fancy glitter stickers and every morning she would jump through the hoops to get a chance to pick a fancy sticker to wear to school..

Would she be upset if she misses pre-school? Maybe instead of the natural consequence of going not ready- try if she's not ready she doesn't get to go. Or get to do anything until she's ready for the day. I'm sure it'll also suck for you for a few days, but maybe it'll motivate her to get on it.

Ugh! I went through this same battle with my little girl. (I don't think we have met. I was a friend of Bryan's from Ricks) What we finally did was made a checklist of things to be done in the morning. Ours was just on her white board but I have seen them laminated with movable parts (Like a picture of a toothbrush that has velcro on the back so it can be moved from the "needs to be done" column to the "done" column. So she can check it off or move it over when she has accomplished the task and then have a reward set up for when the whole list is complete. Like a quick game before school or a short cartoon or something she likes. Rewards right after the tasks are complete at first and then after a week of completed tasks start rewarding weekly. It worked for us. Hope this helps.
