Happy Birthday Ivy Claire

Her birthday is not actually until Monday, but she had her first "friends" party today. (Psst, I hate birthday parties, but I realize that my low tolerance shouldn't deprive my child of . . . well her childhood).
First I spent the whole week making a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game or our version was pin-the-Little Einstein-kids-in-the-rocket ship, then I made a pinata, and then a cake. Whew! A lot of work, but I think the party was a success. They seemed to have fun.

Danielle those are amazing. You must teach me how to make a piniata my boys would love it! Happy Birthday almost Ms. Ivy!

You are amazing! You'll have to tell me how you ended up doing the cake. If for nothing else, your teaching yourself to draw has supplied some awesome games for your kids birthdays... and mine.

Wow you make me look lame, I bought our pinata, used a dino cupcake mold, and used the picture of the dino for Japheth's room for "pin the tale." I'll get the bday party post up soon for you to see. Luckily for us all of Japheth's friends are our friends' kids, so it becomes a big hangout with friends & their kids.

Thanks everyone for thinking I'm way cooler than I am. I like having control of what aspects of my life and my family's lives are posted. That way we only have to see the good stuff.
