First I spent the whole week making a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game or our version was pin-the-Little Einstein-kids-in-the-rocket ship, then I made a pinata, and then a cake. Whew! A lot of work, but I think the party was a success. They seemed to have fun.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Happy Birthday Ivy Claire
Her birthday is not actually until Monday, but she had her first "friends" party today. (Psst, I hate birthday parties, but I realize that my low tolerance shouldn't deprive my child of . . . well her childhood).

Danielle those are amazing. You must teach me how to make a piniata my boys would love it! Happy Birthday almost Ms. Ivy!
You are amazing! You'll have to tell me how you ended up doing the cake. If for nothing else, your teaching yourself to draw has supplied some awesome games for your kids birthdays... and mine.
wowza! no wonder you are party reluctant, you go all out! looks like everyone had fun, way to go!
Wow you make me look lame, I bought our pinata, used a dino cupcake mold, and used the picture of the dino for Japheth's room for "pin the tale." I'll get the bday party post up soon for you to see. Luckily for us all of Japheth's friends are our friends' kids, so it becomes a big hangout with friends & their kids.
Holy Little Einsteins...Amazing! Go you! How fun...she will remember it forever. If not you have pics. :) Was is hard to watch all that work destroyed/eaten?
No wonder you hate birthday parties, that must have taken forever! Well worth the time though! They are awesome and your kids are going to remember how great their Mom was.
You just amaze me you Martha Stewart you!! The cake and pinata looks awesome. Happy Birthday Ivy!!
Simply amazing! You are so talented!
Your Little Einsteins pin-the-tail and pinata were beyond impressive. Wow. And the cake was cute too. What a special party for such a sweet girl. Happy Birthday Ivy!
Seriously, every time I look at a new post...I am amazed yet again! I bow down to your creativity, so cool!
Thanks everyone for thinking I'm way cooler than I am. I like having control of what aspects of my life and my family's lives are posted. That way we only have to see the good stuff.
