Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Happy Halloween!
It was nice to have a low-key Halloween where we didn't feel like we had to go to a bunch of different events. We just went trick-or-treating. Ivy was relentless...and highly entertaining. You just never know what's going to come out of her mouth.

Peter's Baptism
Peter was baptized on Halloween morning. He seemed a little nervous at first, but he relaxed and even answered some of the questions that the speakers asked. I was so proud of him.

We had a lot of family who were able to come so that was really nice to have them here to support him...especially on Halloween.

Ivy's Field Trip
I went with Ivy on her first field trip for preschool on Wednesday. It was quite chilly, but the kids had tons of fun, hunting for Winnie the Pooh and his friends,

painting pumpkins,

decorating cupcakes,

and going for a tractor ride (missed the picture of that one).
Then on Friday we woke up to a wonderful world of snow (burrrr).
