Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Merry Christmas in February
For Christmas this year my amazing and extravagant (not usually; just this year) husband decided that I could get laser eye surgery. Well then of course we sold our house and had to move and there was no time for any of that until we got to Idaho. So hooray I had my surgery on Thursday! It is amazing. It hurt, but I could see within two hours of the surgery and then the next day my vision was better than 20/20. I love it. My eyes are kind of deep set so that was painful to get them to stay open during the surgery and I ended up with a hematoma in my eye which gives my kids the willies, but still...loving it.

That's awesome Danielle! I had mine done in 2001 and am still absolutely loving it! Now we just gotta get Mike's done. Hope all is well, we miss you guys!
I'm jealous. The hematoma gives me the willies too, so I hope you get it sorted before you come to Texas. I'm glad the surgery went well. See you soon.
Danielle, How great!! I got mine about 3 years ago and I still think it was the best money I ever spent!!
That picture looks kind of sci-fi-ish with all it's blue hues and your bloody eye. I'm so jealous! I wish I could see without glasses or contacts.
Call me crazy, but I was always so jealous of your cool contacts and you always made it look so fun with the little cute containers and all the fun cleansers. AND not only did you get to have contacts, but you got to wear glasses at night, LUCKY!! I always wished I needed all that neat stuff. I even tried to fake it but Larry was on to me. I get the idea that you didn't think it was all that great. Congrats on the surgery!! You are very brave!
Yeah! Life without glasss or contacts. I bet you are loving it. The eye is kind of creepy but small price to pay, huh. Hope you are loving Rexburg :). Is it any warmer this week?
That is great! I think you should use your new creapy eye to your advantage...hooo ha ha. You will never have to yell at your kids again. JK!
