I took off for the weekend and met Jeana in Chicago. We had so much fun. We got lost. We rode the trolley. We kept running into this German girl and her mom and we have her to thank for our best pictures. We saw Wicked, the Hancock Tower, the Planetarium, Navy Pier...nevermind there's too much. We also had some amazing Chicago Pizza from Gino's East, that ended up being worth the walk, and the wait...until the next night when we found out that there was one right by our hotel. I was sad the weekend had to end.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Thanks for the super fun weekend, sister! Good thing we finally got a good Wicked picture after the first idiot failed miserably. Bless her heart.
When Jeana left it only took minutes before Kate was asking when momma would be home. I was quite surprised that when Jeana got home the girls were clinging to me. That was a proud moment as a dad. Well, maybe not proud, but rare.
Sounds like a fun weekend. My friend just saw Wicked in Alanta this weekend, I've been want to see that. How was it? Glad you had a great time.
What a fun idea!! I think I need to go call Julie!! I wish I could have been there to take the pictures. Back in the day I used to be a photographer you know. :)
I didn't even know you were going to Chicago!! Well that's cool. So glad you had a great time. (you're right, sister time is the very bestest ever)
Love Mom
What a fun trip with Jeana! And "Wicked" is, well, totally wicked - we loved it!
Chicago with your sister!! That must have been so fun. And you got to see wicked. Girls' trips are the best.
Danielle! I finally found you. Many people have asked me where you are, and I don't know! Shoot me an e-mail (larsonamybice@gmail.com) and let me know what is up. Your family is beautiful! Take care--Amy Bice Larson
I loved wandering around in Chicago! I'm so glad you had a great time! Is it weird that I truly love riding the "L"?
You look amazing...as usual!
